Posted on March 20, 2018 by Teresa Mackin

INDIANAPOLIS — Kelley School of Business Associate Dean Philip T. Powell has announced the appointment of Mary Johnson as director of the nationally ranked Evening MBA Program on the IUPUI campus.

Johnson begins her role as director after serving a short term as the program’s interim director and, previously, as associate director for nearly four years.

“We are proud to introduce Mary Johnson as our new director of the Evening MBA Program,” said Powell. “In her short time as interim director, Mary and the Evening MBA team increased student enrollment, reduced processing time of new applications, and enabled a full curriculum review by the faculty. Mary will do a phenomenal job delivering upon the mission of the program, which is to graduate executive talent that leads business in Indianapolis and beyond.”

Johnson brings 25 years of management in human resources and banking in both the private and public sector to the Kelley School. She received her MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

“I am humbled by and excited for this new endeavor,” said Johnson. “Our Evening MBA Program is elite, with world-class faculty and a top-ranked curriculum. I look forward to enhancing the program further through new collaborations with students, alumni, employers and community partners to develop emerging executive business leaders.”
